What is Telehealth Counselling?
Telehealth counseling, also known as teletherapy or online counseling, refers to the provision of mental health counseling and support services through digital platforms or telecommunications technology. It involves the use of video conferencing, phone calls, instant messaging, or other digital communication tools to connect clients and therapists remotely. Telehealth counseling allows individuals to access mental health services from the comfort of their own homes or any location with internet or telephone access. It offers convenience, flexibility, and accessibility, particularly for those who may have difficulty attending in-person therapy sessions due to various reasons such as distance, physical limitations, or time constraints.

During telehealth counseling sessions, therapists provide support, guidance, and therapeutic interventions to individuals dealing with a range of mental health concerns, such as depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, trauma, and more. These sessions are conducted in a similar manner to traditional face-to-face counseling, with the therapist and client engaging in conversation, exploring emotions, discussing challenges, and working towards personal growth and well-being.

We currently offer telehealth or online via Zoom at our standard rate of $120/hr, however, please ask about concession rates for students and those experiencing financial difficulty.
