Meet Jocelyn
Having worked in the health and caring space for over 30 years, including nursing and chaplaincy, I value the essential role supportive relationships have for our growth and well-being. Counselling and psychotherapy research show that having a supportive relationship is incredibly helpful for talking through life’s challenges, recovering from difficult experiences or to find ways to live a more peaceful or meaningful life. Drawing on this benefit, through training and experience, I offer my client’s a therapeutic relationship using evidence-based strategies in response to your needs.
My approach is to work together to determine the most effective way for you to reach your goals, resolve issues or move towards mental, emotional, relational or spiritual health. I have considerable experience with family and interpersonal relationship issues, church and spiritual difficulties, mental health disorders including ADHD, disability, and parenting skills development.
I have a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy degree, a Diploma of Theology and Ministry, am a practising member of the Australian Counselling Association (Level 2) and undergo regular professional supervision.
I am available for families, couples and individuals across the life span in the areas of;
