Meet Lyndal
When you come to counselling, it’s important to feel truly heard, met with compassion, and supported without judgement. Like all counsellors at Hope Christian Counselling, I work in a client-centred, gentle, and respectful way, creating a safe space for you to explore what matters most.

I recognise the powerful influence that family, community, and past experiences can have on our lives. My approach is strengths-based and empowering, helping you build on your existing coping skills so you can move toward greater wellbeing and wholeness. As a holistic practitioner, I integrate support for emotions, thoughts, behaviours, and spirituality.

I am a trained and registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association. My professional background spans over 40 years and includes teaching, chaplaincy, overseas Christian ministry, and community development. I am married with two adult children and am an active member of an evangelical church on the far South Coast. My own life experiences — including multiple international moves, breast cancer, and anxiety within our family — shape the empathy and understanding I bring to my work. Outside of counselling, I enjoy walking in nature (especially dog-friendly places), hospitality, and gentle gym activities.
