Experience Therapy in the Great Outdoors

We offer a unique approach to therapy that takes you out of the office and into the refreshing outdoors. During walk and talk therapy, we walk side by side, creating a relaxed, informal setting that can feel less intimidating than a traditional therapy room. Being in motion and surrounded by nature can promote a sense of well-being, and may be especially helpful if you prefer being active or outdoors.

This style of therapy offers a range of potential benefits. The natural environment can have a calming and grounding effect, helping to reduce stress and anxiety. Walking releases endorphins, which can boost your mood, while the change of scenery can offer new perspectives, stimulate creativity, and support problem-solving.

Walk and talk therapy can be helpful for a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship challenges. It is particularly suited to those who feel more comfortable opening up while moving, or who find traditional therapy settings too confining.

It’s important to note that this approach may not be suitable for everyone or for all therapeutic goals. Some sessions may require more privacy or a controlled environment. Currently, Nada and Mel offer walk and talk therapy.
